ZERUST® Axxanol™ 8110 is an easy-to-use corrosion inhibiting additive that contains our proven ICT™ corrosion inhibiting technology. Axxanol™ 8110 was designed for use in closed systems, such as aqueous cooling systems or hydraulic systems, and will protect iron, steel, aluminum, copper and brass parts within these systems for up to six months. Axxanol™ 8110 is water-based and easily diluted with coolant or water-based hydraulic fluids.

In addition, Axxanol™ 8110 will provide a few hours of corrosion protection when used as a coating or final rinse for parts that will be enclosed in ZERUST® Film. In this respect, Axxanol™ 8110 helps prevent flash rust in-between production processes, but is not recommended as a long-term or stand-alone external corrosion protection coating.

APPLICATION EXAMPLES

ZERUST® AXXANOL™ 8110 PROTECTING THE METAL TANK OF A HUMIDITY CHAMBER FROM CORROSION.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Make sure metal surfaces and parts within the system are as clean as possible.
2. Mix Axxanol™8110 with coolant or hydraulic fluid in a ratio of 1 part Axxanol™8110 to 10 parts fluid.
   
3. Wear gloves to avoid corrosion caused by fingerprints on metal surfaces and parts.
   
4. Add Axxanol™ 8110/fluid mixture to your cooling or hydraulic system.
   
5. The system will be protected for up to six months.
   
   

If used as a rinse or temporary coating (a few hours) prior to packaging in ZERUST® Film, mix Axxanol™ 8110 with de-ionized water in a ratio of 1 part Axxanol™ 8110 to 10 parts water.
